Are you tired of feeling tired? Boost your energy level with this tasty smoothie!

Many of my clients suffer with energy dips and this is due to a number of factors including poor diet, excess stress or lifestyle (whether it be the manic mother at home, the demands of a corporate job or a socially active life), disturbed sleep and excess exercise, poor metabolism to name just a few. You may identify with one or more of these factors and already be aware of your current energy vice (sugar, cigarettes, coffee, drugs).  Many people struggle to get off the hamster wheel once they are on it as the artificial buzz they are getting is keeping them going.  My I AM Energised blend of superfoods and adaptogens actually works to give you a natural energy boost and heres why:

  • It promotes energy production, utilisation and transportation on a cellular level. 
  • It boosts mental energy, concentration and focus.

Blueberry Energy Buzz

1/2 cup of your favourite nut milk 

2 tbs coconut yoghurt

1 small ripe banana 

1 cube frozen spinach 

1 cup frozen blueberries 

10g I AM Energised 

Method  

Add all the ingredients to a high speed blender and whizz on high speed until smooth.

Pour into a bowl or glass and top with anything delicious you can find in your pantry.  I love blueberries, cacao nibs and creamy hemp seeds! 

Naomi’s TIP:  The texture of this recipe can be a smoothie bowl or thicker than usual smoothie - how you enjoy is your own personal preference.  To make it thicker add less nut milk and to make it thinner add more!  You can also use fresh spinach and blueberries but your smoothie won’t be perfectly chilled so you will need to add some ice.
